Earthquake!

I was in the english staffroom when it happened: earthquake.

It was a weird feeling. At first I didn't know what was happening. Whilst the teachers were getting ready to jump under the table, I stood there transfixed. I had a strange ringing in my ears and just as the quake hit, i felt like a wave just washed over me. It was weird.

The quake itself was small. Something like a 3 on the richter scale. The shelves shook a bit but nothing more.

Lesley came over and told me that she hates earthquakes and the teachers turned back to their lunchboxes and continued their discussions - everything was back to normal.
