No School Today

Since today was the Emperor's birthday, we didn't have school! I got up at 10 o'clock and that was only because Nao put an alarm next to my ear! grrr! I worked mostly on my speech today. I also did a bit of cooking (Japanese Christmas Cake) and got some paper and envelopes for all those letters I will write one day :)

I am currently reading my first Japanese book, ピーターラビット (Peter Rabbit) the book is 54 pages long and has nice big illustrations on every second page ;). Anyways i'm up to page 8, it is pretty hard.
